In AD 1921, spring, the first national Spun Silk Factory---Jiaxing YuJia Spun Silk Factory was founded by Hangzhou WeiCheng Co.,Ltd. Covering an area of about 110acres, located on south of Da Yan Cang Bridge, east of NanHu Lake, it’s the ancestor of late Jiaxing Spun Silk Factory.

In October,1942, a time during the Sino-Japanese War, YuJia Spun Silk Factory was merged by a Japanese Kaisha---Kaneka as their No.8 Silk Factory.

In August,1945, China won the war against Japan. On September 27th, YuJia Spun Silk Factory was confiscated by the national government as a Japanese asset. In January,1946, the Factory was renamed as No.1 Experimental Spun Silk Factory of China Silk Co.

On May 7th,1949, Jiaxing was liberated by the new Chinese government. On July 1st,1950, YuJia Spun Silk Factory was reorganized as Jiaxing Spun Silk Factory---a state-owned property, under the administration of Eastern China Textile Bureau of the Ministry of Textile Industry.

In April,2002, Jiaxing Spun Silk Factory was officially reformed and later merged and relocated by Zhejiang Golden Eagle Group. It’s now named Zhejiang Golden Eagle Spun Silk Co.,Ltd.(Jiaxing Spun Silk Factory)
On July 22nd,2005, the company was transfered to the present venue due to the need of city expansion.

Moon by moon, earth by earth, history has found our company reaching 85years old since 1921. In this 85years, we have come from the time of private capitalism, Japanese intervention, national private capitalism and new Chinese government. In this era of new century, with a brand-new Chinese Modernization Program, the company is like a golden eagle with it’s wings opening to a brighter sky.
